We travel in a van, make games, and ask independent developers how they make theirs. Think Man Vs. Food meets Indie Game: The Movie.

Episode 1: Rob Lach and Two Smoking Barrels
It's Not Me, It's You
This game challenges the concept of a first person shooter. Created on the way to Chicago, "It's Not Me, It's You" puts the player in the role of plane crash survivor in the midst of a bizarre experience.

  1. I love the idea of a second person shooter where you use reflection and expression. That sounds hilarious and awesome! :D

So, I wrote that last statement just a few minutes into your episode… once I finished and played your game, it wasn’t hilarious at all… it was way creepy. Some really cool gameplay elements I liked: the half broken glasses and monsters only approach you from behind (this game adds a whole new experience to that old mechanism).

Great work getting this done in such a short amount of time, and deploy-able for that matter! It’s quite the feat you guys pulled off!
